Grand Rapids Collaborative

LOFT OFFICE SPACES IN DOWNTOWN GRAND RAPIDS
38 West Fulton
Grand Rapids, MI 49503

First built in 1883, the building was known as the Leonard Building, named after its builder Charles H Leonard. Leonard was a pioneer refrigerator manufacturer who made an innovative design that improved the refrigerator's interior so it was easy to clean. The building has always had its roots in entrepreneurship and innovation. The building operated as a grocery store until 1951 when it was occupied by Dykstra Wholesale which supplied local merchants with everything from dry goods and baby diapers to men's and women's apparel.

Today, it serves as a hub for some of the most exciting tech start-ups within the City of Grand Rapids. Across Grand Rapids Collaborative’s four floors is a variety of floorpans dedicated to helping businesses succeed. Within the building’s coLab space, tenants are encouraged to exchange ideas and work together to find new solutions. For more personal meetings, conference rooms are available for group calls, presentations, and private meetings.

Grand Rapids Collaborative rests on the pulse of the City’s business and entertainment district. From entertainment venues like Van Andel Arena and 20 Monroe Live to the variety of the City’s finest dining options, Grand Rapids Collaborative placement makes it easier to experience Grand Rapids. The first floor of the building is also home to one of the city's most beloved local restaurants: San Chez Bistro. The building's central location and strong co-tenancy offer the ideal environment for businesses to connect, collaborate, and grow.
